Ports and Buttons

This section provides an overview of all physical ports and control buttons on the Screenmate OneCable monitor.

USB-C Port (Data/Video/Power)

Connect your laptop cable here. This port receives data and video from your laptop and can also receive power. This is the main port for connecting your laptop via USB-C. USB-C Data/Video/Power icon

USB-C Port (Power Only / Power Delivery)

If extra power is needed, or when you want to use the reverse charging function, you can connect a USB-C cable here. USB-C Power Delivery icon This port only receives power and is used for:
  • Additional power supply when your laptop doesn’t deliver enough power
  • Reverse charging: charge your laptop via the Screenmate
  • Automatic screen brightness optimization when using Power Delivery
Note: Make sure you use the correct USB-C port. The main port is for data/video, the Power port is for power only.

Brightness Buttons

The Screenmate OneCable has separate brightness buttons for each screen:
  • Brightness - (Left screen) / Brightness - (Right screen): Decrease the brightness of the left or right screen
  • Brightness + (Left screen) / Brightness + (Right screen): Increase the brightness of the left or right screen
You can adjust the brightness of both screens independently.
